Our Parvi Skirt is a stunning, feminine statement piece.

  • It is a flowy yet flattering skirt with beautiful frills throughout the length.
  • It has adjustable ties to secure and tie the skirt to your liking with two loops holes to accommodate different sizing. 
  • With elegance along with practicality in mind, this dress has a hidden pocket feature also.

The Story Behind the Skirt:

Our Parvi skirt is named after Parveen, an inspirational young lady from our partner charity, Sambhali Trust in India with an incredible story. The print is named after Amy, one of our wonderful machinists who lovingly makes our garments at our non-profit production partner, The Social Studio in Melbourne, Australia.

Fabric Composition: 

Our custom fabrics are hand-woven and hand-dyed by our artisan partners in India
60% Oeko-Tex Standard Hemp / 40% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton Yarn. Dyed with GOTS Certified Dyes

Made to Order:

During product launches and busy periods (eg. Xmas) we ask that you allow 7-10 business days for your order to be made and to factor in the shipping timeafter. Normally however your piece will be made within 2-7 days and then shipped to you.  If you will be needing your piece urgently – please write this in the comments at checkout or emails us with the date you require it by and we will do our best to accommodate this. Please allow approximately 2-4 weeks for your order to be fulfilled and delivered (depending on location) once you have placed your order.

Care:

Cold hand or gentle machine wash. Wash separately. Use mild detergent. Do not soak or bleach. Do not wring, twist, or tumble dry. Drip dry away from direct sunlight. Warm iron on reverse side to bring back to shape.

Shipping Policy

Shipping

All orders placed on our website are sent from our warehouse in Australia.

Shipping within Australia

For orders over $250 – Free standard shipping

For orders under $250- $6.95 for Standard shipping

Express Shipping for all orders will be $15

Where possible, our orders will be sent via carbon neutral shipping with either Sendle or Australia Post.

You can expect standard shipping orders to arrive within 3-7 business days after dispatch and Express shipping orders to arrive within 1-3 business days after dispatch.

International Shipping

All international orders will be shipped by an international courier service. Both Standard and Express International shipping will be fully tracked and will required a signature. We cannot deliver to PO Boxes, Parcel lockers or hotels, so please provide a private address.

Orders over $500 - free standard shipping

Standard international shipping - $29.95

Delivery is estimated between 10-25 business days – note shipping may take longer to some countries

Express International shipping $49.95

Delivery is estimated between 7-10 business days. Please note shipping may take longer to some countries and we are not responsible for any delays or additional delivery time.

Please keep in mind that it is the responsibility of the customer to assume all customs, import duties and taxes.

Please note: Due to COVID-19 there can be extensive delays with international shipping. Please refer to the relevant carrier website for the most up to date information on shipping to your country.

Order processing times:

All orders placed before 1pm AEST will be processed the next business day.

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email sent to your nominated email straight away. If you do not receive this, please email us at hello@chamani.com.au so we can track down your order.

Once your order is dispatched you will receive shipping confirmation and tracking details via email.

All deliveries are sent during normal hours Monday to Friday. Any orders placed on public holidays or weekends will be processed the following business day.  

Please note: During busy periods, there may be some delays. Please account for this. We will always endeavour to fulfill your order as soon as possible. We will inform you if there are any expected delays.

Sadly we cannot take responsibility if your return is lost in transit for any import duties and taxes that may be incurred.

Order Packaging:

All of our orders are wrapped in tissue paper and placed into our reusable, one-of-a-kind tote bags upcycled from vintage saris. These will then be placed into a compostable mailer.

With sustainability in mind, we have specifically chosen not to use boxes as these are often not reused. However if you would like a box, please email us so we can organise this for you. If have any issues or suggestions about our order packaging, we welcome any feedback via email at hello@chamani.com.au

Can I make changes to my order?

Unfortunately once the order is placed on our website, you are unable to make any changes or cancel your order. Prior to placing your order please take the time to ensure all details of your order are correct before submitting to avoid any stress or disappointment. In particular, please double check the items, your email address and shipping address.

Customs, Import Duties & Taxes

Please note that it is the responsibility of the customer to assume all customs, import duties and taxes.

We are legally required to declare the full value of all shipments and include order documentation such as an invoice for customs purposes.

Refund Policy

How will I be refunded?

You will be refunded by your original form of payment excluding the shipping charges (if applicable)

What if I receive an incorrect item or my order is incorrect?

If your order is incorrect or you received an item you did not order, please email us at hello@chamani.com.au so we can resolve this issue for you straight away.

Return delivery costs for incorrectly supplied items will be renumerated by us.

What if my item is faulty?

As our items are very limited in number, we take great care in ensuring our quality control of all garments is very thorough. All orders are photographed in detail and kept on file prior to dispatch for future reference if needed.  In the rare instance where there is a fault in your item when you receive it, we will happily refund you or replace the item if the stock is available. 

If this is the case please email us at hello@chamani.com.au and we will be in contact swiftly to rectify the issue.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

Returns

As these are forever, investment pieces we truly want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you change your mind, we will happily offer a full refund or store credit as long as the following conditions are met:

  • All items must be returned in it’s original condition with all tags attached.
  • The garment must be unworn, un-washed and unaltered
  • Items must be free of any marks and stains including makeup, sweat or perfume so please keep this in mind when trying them on.
  • Returns must be submitted in writing via email to hello@chamani.com.au.
  • The items must be shipped back to us within 7 days of delivery to you and received at our warehouse within 14 days of delivery.
  • We recommend your parcel is dated and time-stamped upon mailing back to us and taking a photo of your parcel for your reference.
  • Any returns outside of these time frames will not be accepted.

We suggest that you try on all of your items as soon as they are received so that your items can be returned within our returns time frame if needed.

Unfortunately we cannot take responsibility if your return is lost in transit back to us or for any import duties and taxes that may be incurred. We highly recommend using a reliable courier service with tracking and insurance to ensure a safe and timely return.

Please note as our collections are very limited, all orders will be photographed in detail and kept on file for future reference prior to us shipping.

All gifts with purchase items and tote bags must be returned with your return. If these are not returned, then the value of the gift or tote bag will be deducted from your refund or credit note amount.

We do not refund any SALE items unless they are faulty. In which case, please contact us at hello@chamani.com.au

How do I return an item?

If the above conditions are met, please email hello@chamani.com.au so we can assist you with the returns process.

You can choose to return your item for a store credit and receive free shipping in return or organise your own shipping back to us for a full refund. Once again, we highly recommend using a reliable courier service with tracking and insurance to ensure a safe and timely return

How long will it take to process my return?

Once the items are received, they will be assessed by the returns team. If all criteria as stated above have been met, you will receive either a credit note or refund as requested by you. This will be for the full amount of the item onto your original payment method excluding the shipping charges. As stated above, if any gift with purchase items or tote bags are not returned with your purchase  then the value of the gift or tote bag will be deducted from your refund or credit note amount.

Refunds will be processed as soon as possible once received but we ask that you allow a maximum 5 business days to be processed. We will email you once the return has be finalised. Please note, depending on your bank, it can take up to a further 3-5 business days for returns to show up in your account.

If there are any issues at all, please do not hesitate to contact us via email.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

We hope one day soon we will be able to offer free returns on ALL orders. However for now, if you choose to return your item for a store credit, you will receive free shipping in return. Otherwise you will need to organise your own shipping back to us. We highly recommend using a reliable courier service with tracking and insurance to ensure a safe and timely return.

Can I exchange an item?

As our collections are very limited in number, we do not offer exchanges for our products. If you require a different size or would like a different colour or style please purchase the new product as available on our website and follow our returns process for a refund of the unwanted item.

What currency is my order processed in?

All orders are processed in Australian dollars (AUD). We are not responsible for the exchange rates and fees incurred to you by your payment method or bank.

Pre-orders or Made to order can I return them if needed?

YES absolutely. Even though these are made to order (in a way) we still want you to love your item completely. So you just follow the returns process above if you need to.
